Today we are proud to say that our company is headed in the right direction thanks to the expertise, hard work, and commitment of its people, and after reaching certain milestones in the past few weeks, we thought it would be a great idea to put faces to the names and formally introduce you to our leaders.

This Is Our Executive Team

Joseph Jongsma - Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Serial entrepreneur with close to 20 years of private business ownership. His expertise in understanding the full complexity of growing a business has helped various organizations prosper from the knowledge he has gained over those years.

A true visionary of success, Joseph's passion and energy are ever-present. He is known for thinking outside the box and believes that total commitment and dedication is always the true way to build a successful business.

Prior to founding Caring Support, Joseph was the Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of the London-based company Paystone. Later, he became the President of Disinfect & Fog, a company that specializes in commercial and residential disinfecting through innovative technical fogging solutions; and CEO of the business consulting venture Sock Savings Group.

Rob Lake - Chief Operating Officer

A senior leader with 25+ years of client-facing work experience with enterprise HR software, marketing, media, and technology companies. Rob has pitched and executed on very innovative retail programs for top-tier retailers, Like Best Buy, Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, Staples, Sobeys producing revenue growth and results in data driving future product development. He excels at building strong relationships and leading customers’ buying experiences to ensure they receive the best delivery of profitable solutions and are provided a competitive advantage.

Larry Chevalier - Chief Financial Officer

Skilled financial executive and successful entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience guiding businesses. Larry is a leader with strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills. He has demonstrated success in the Digital Advertising & Marketing, and Payments industries. Skilled in Executive Leadership, Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Governance, Legal and Financial, Business Development, Business Process Improvement, and Change Management.

Larry's experience spans several sectors including manufacturing, digital marketing, software, and commercial banking. Larry was previously President + CEO, Delego Software (2011-2015), and CFO/Co-founder, Conversys Inc. (2000-2009).

This Is Our Advisory Board

Dr. Paul Woods MD MS CCFP

Family physician and health care executive that has led health care organizations both in the hospital and acute sectors in Canada and the USA. He received his MD from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1985. He practised rural family medicine for over two and half decades, and after obtaining a Masters from Dartmouth College in health system design and improvement has held several high-level leadership roles, including CEO of a large academic health sciences centre.

Dr. Woods is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in advanced primary care models, health system policy and payment, and population health management.

Don Thibert

President and CEO of Westervelt College, one of Canada's oldest Colleges founded in 1885. After graduating with a B.Comm from the University of Windsor in 1984, with a major in Finance, Mr. Thibert has gained extensive sector experience including roles as instructor, owner, location manager, multi-location manager, and divisional president. His focus is on delivering quality education with impressive student outcomes by ensuring students have plenty of hands-on training so they are ready for that first day of work in their chosen career path.

From 2005 to 2013, Mr. Thibert was a Board member of Career Colleges Ontario and served as President for 3 of those years and has sat as a Board member with the National Association of Career Colleges. After taking a few years off Mr. Thibert is back as a Board member of Career Colleges Ontario. He is active in his community of Windsor working with “In Honour of the One’s we Love”; a charity that has raised over 12 million dollars to support local hospitals and their patients over the past 20 years.

With a strong commitment to the educational sector, Mr. Thibert holds several distinguished awards including:

Recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal 2012

Outstanding Achievement Awards – RVP Operations 2006

Summit Club Award – Campus Manager 2003

Hilary Anderson CPA, CGA

Corporate Services and Human Resources specialist with demonstrated expertise and history working in the healthcare industry. Hilary is highly skilled in analytical thinking, team building, and management. Hilary currently works as Chief of Human Resources and Support Services Officer at Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU).

Hilary's previous roles include Vice President of Corporate Services & HR at the South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and for Ontario Health (West Region); Regional Manager Finance, Business Intelligence & Controller at South West Community Care Access Centre; and management positions for the City of London. She has a Business Administration degree from Georgian College and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Byron Ells

Entrepreneurial digital and marketing business leader with extensive experience in customer-centric digital, eCommerce, and cross-channel marketing. Byron has held executive roles at top-tier retailers, including Walmart Canada and Shoppers Drug Mart, digital agencies, and management consultancies in Canada and the United States. Byron has been a speaker, panelist, and judge at the Shopper Marketing Forum, Store Conference, CMA Awards, and former board member for Retail Advisory Council.
