1- Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
This place is one of the mountain forest reserves and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Central Croatia with an area of 43.9 square kilometers. The beauty of this park is due to a series of several rivers and 16 turquoise stepped lakes that are connected with several spectacular waterfalls and all of them freeze during the winter. 2. Lake Maureen, Canada
At an altitude of 1,885 meters, Lake Maureen, a frozen lake, is located in the Valley of Ten Peaks in Banff National Park. The lake is one of the most visited and photographed places in Canada with enjoyable hiking, fishing, boating and even skiing trails near the lake. The surface of this lake is 120 hectares and its deepest part is 14 meters. One of the wonders of this lake is the rocks on its bottom, which reflect the turquoise color on the surface of the water when it is full of water, which is amazingly beautiful. The animal species of this lake include squirrels, date palms and bears.
3. Milford Strait, New Zealand
Milford Strait is one of the few places on earth that is much more enjoyable and spectacular in the rainy season than its mild climate. It is located on the South Island of New Zealand and has magnificent rainforests with thousands of exciting waterfalls and cliffs. The average annual rainfall in this region is 700 cm during 183 days, which adds about 609 cm to the ocean surface. Because the rain washes away the tannins in the forest and takes them to the lake, the ocean surface turns black. This area belongs to both UNESCO and the IPA (Bird Species Conservation Area). About 1 million visitors a year are registered for this area, which among all activities can be boating, hiking and boating. There are also many penguins, dolphins, hippos and whales and a variety of birds.
4- Zhejiang Wing Yang National Park, China
The park is part of the Wolling Yang geographical area in Hunan Province and the birthplace of Mao Zedong. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and geo-park and has a variety of attractions including caves, cliffs, pools, waterfalls and wildlife. There are 3,000 species of plants, wild monkeys, endangered species of giant Chinese salamander, cloud leopard and deer. The park also has an artistic history, before the invention of photography, Chinese painters and artists carved on the rocks. There are 854 hotels in this national park that serve 30 million local tourists annually. 5- Santorini, Greece
Santorini is a collection of 5 active volcanic islands whose craters are underwater and are part of the Cycladic archipelago in the Aegean Sea. Santorini has a total area of 90 square kilometers and at least 15,000 inhabitants, and due to lack of access to fresh drinking water and low rainfall, other drinks are found in abundance to quench thirst.
